After the match, I thought - "well maybe this will quiet Jose Mourinho" but I was fooling myself. The Captain of Douchebaggery left the Nou Camp pitch blowing kisses, as if he was confused about the outcome. And in the subsequent press conference, he didn't praise Barca or Ronaldinho or come close to acknowledging that his team simply got thumped... instead, he pointed to the red card handed to Asier Del Horno in the first leg as the telling factor behind Chelsea's 3-2 aggregate defeat. ITV asked The Special One if the better team had won: I don't think so. We have played against them four matches in two seasons. [With] 11 against 11 they never beat us. That is the reality. We had a very difficult job to do, because we were losing 2-1. Knockout is about two ties. In the first, we lost in strange circumstances. If we had had a little bit of luck; if we had scored before the last minute we would have had a big chance - but we only scored in the last minute. If if if, blah blah blah. Did you win? Are you still in the Champions? Yeah, that's what I thought. All the moaning and groaning in the world from this tosser won't change the fact that the Blues got chumped at home and embarrassed in Catalonia. Good riddance. As for the Mighty Arsenal, we square up against Real Madrid in the second leg today. I know we have a 1-goal cushion but it's going to force Zidane, Beckham, Ronaldo, and Carlos to go at us with all they have. Out of fear, I've hit every diety in existence to pray that the away goal will be enough to sustain a victory. Hail Arsenal. I missed the first run of the Chelsea - Barca match yesterday, so I figured I'd have to rely on FSW highlights. I nearly fell over in shock when I saw that ESPN2, of all channels, was airing a taped version around 1 am. The first half featured some nice plays but nothing of note occurred. I didn't tune in to the reairing till the second half but it was in plenty of time to see Ron's goal and that was fuckin disgusting. I really didn't think Terry was gonna go down like that on the challenge but christ that was sweet.

I'm up to here with Mourinho. Somebody needs to knock the shit out of that arrogant bastard. Chelsea was decent out there but they didn't play like anything was on the line. They didn't have any fire and they weren't sharp. Barca was far and away the better team.

Ron's combo of style, smarts, and skill is just an absolute pleasure to watch. Even when I'm cheering against Barca or Brazil, I can't help but root him on. He's a magician out there.

Mourinho is a fool. The only reason Lampard scored that late goal was because Barca was playing with a two goal cushion.

In Mourinho's mind he never loses....NEVER. He always seems to find something else to point at to blame for his demise. Putting his delusions aside, it's his hypocracy that gets my panties all tied up in a knot. He bitched about that Barca kid's (Messi) acting skills when his quite obvious flop saw Del Horno sent off. Yet the wanker seemed to defend Robben when he was making a meal out of nothing which led to Liverpool's goalie Reina sent off. You know what they say Mourinho, what goes around comes around. Karma, ain't that a bitch!!!

Seems Liverpool are about to crash out of the CL since they're a goal down and now two goals behind on aggregate (I don't expect the miracle of last year to happen again)....so I'll be cheering, by default, for the lone english team with a chance. COME ON GUNNERS!!!! ;)

That style drives me mad. They have the greatest talents in the EPL and all they can do is sit back and wait for someone else to act before they can figure out what to do. It's a shame.
